Have you ever wondered about the Korean military system? Enlistment is mandatory for Korean men because South and North Korea never signed a peace treaty. Korean men have until their 38th birthday to enlist. Many of my friends enlisted in their early twenties, but celebrities tend to enlist before they turn 30 (Korean age — usually 29 in Western age).
